Overwrought

I have never worked so hard for so little. I spent seven hours, total, writing a grand scene that took up all of two pages. SEVEN! And it still isn't what I wanted it to be. I haven't been this frustrated since the second chapter (that thing was of the devil). I guess I shouldn't be too hard on myself; I've always cheated my way out of goodbye scenes before, so I don't have a lot of practice. Still, two pages, seven hours--what's wrong with this picture?

Nothing, you most writers take a few years to finnish a book.

Well, it's different when you include revision. The first run-through took me seven hours. Oh well, so long as I finish by the end of the summer my goals will be fulfilled (I have 4-5 chapters left; I planned it all out today).

Lol, thats good! But you don't give yourself enough credit, I'm sure most TOR Authors run out of ideas after there 10th book(Only problem with Fantacy, to many books in one series). I'm sure it will be great:)

Yeah, I hear ya on the series. I think I'm going to kill Robert Jordan sometime soon. I'd stop reading the series, but then I look back on how much of my life I've invested in it...I can't stop before the ending.

Anyway, luckily Son of Sferesh is only planned to be one book. I suppose I could make up a sequel, but I wouldn't take it farther than that.
